I had an interesting experience tonight while awaiting the postponed fireworks. Well I guess you could say the whole evening proved to be interesting. 6 of us cycled the 15 mile round trip to the lake... I had never ridden to the lake before...
Anyway, back to the point..
I had no sooner than laid out my blanket when two young gentlemen enveloped me... I am guessing that they were age 3 and 4... Then again I am not very good at that kind of thing...
Chris was exceptionally curious. He would touch my head look inside my mouth and pat me on the back, all while uttering a language all his own. I could barely understand either one.
The boys were attending the festivities with Mother and Grandmother.
It was obvious the boys were quite taken by us.. As a result conversations developed. The boys' mother revealed that she was again expecting and the boys' father was serving in Iraq..
I just want to take a moment to say God bless... I sincerely hope the young father of soon to be three makes it home safely to his delightful young sons.
