Back to the origin!

This blog was started as a part of my graduate work.  It has evolved.  This post is about it's humble beginning.  My mother explained away some of my obscure references, when speaking to one of her friends by saying, "Rex is just a simple farmboy that loves to learn".  Perhaps she is right.  However, I often feel that a I have drifted so far from the beginning that the shore is no longer visable.  I have my simple honest upbringing, the words and wisdom of my grandfather as a lighthouse when I feel utterly and completely lost. I like Mark Twain's quote that goes something like this,"I never let schooling get in the way of my education". On of my goals in life is to keep challenging myself and to influence others to do the same. I maintain hectic lifestyle that annoys most of my friends and family. I allowed life to dictate the terms of my living it! and
