Today my gf made an offer on a house. It is a house that has great potential. However, I have a large truck. To no surprise my truck does not fit in the garage. I mean it really does not fit! I would have to fold in the mirrors and everything. It would still be too long.
I got to thinking. This is alot like life. Sometimes you go looking for that "perfect" thing or someone and you are faced with a decision. Do you proceed even though it is not perfect or do you abandon ship.
In this case it is a house not a partner so perhaps it is easier to accept the imperfections and move on. Who knows? I think that each individual scenario involves independent evaluation. I can't speak for anyone or any other scenarios because I am not in them right now!
