Broken?

Somewhere between Starbucks and hunting Buffalo for the family dinner things got a little off course!  Some might even say broken. 

Since when is an artificially flavored beverage breakfast?  Even if it does cost $8.00 and taste like a cheap multivitamin.

Oh and another thing I think it is cool to protect little suzie or bobby. However, let's nix the helicopter parenting.

At the age of 18 all individuals without special needs ought to be able to get themselves to school, work and home again.  I mean come on Target sells bicycles for around $100 and some form of public transportation exists beyond that in most areas.

Part of preparing them for life is to let them struggle a bit.

Parents keep your kids away from choices that may prove fatal.  However, let the kids meander through the rest of it. 

In order to survive the next hundred years people are going to need a level of self reliance not currently found in many of the youth today.

I am just one man revealing what I see.

People wake up and get off the couch!  It's a happening place out here!
